When updating perl to perl-5.14.4-3, I found that it no longer ran. Specifically, there was no /usr/bin/perl.exe executable installed. I notice that none is listed here: https://cygwin.com/packages/x86/perl/perl-5.14.4-3 though there is one listed in the previous version in the distribution: https://cygwin.com/packages/x86/perl/perl-5.14.2-3 Could this have to do with the particulars of my environment? - I have Strawberry Perl installed - I have a /usr/local/bin/perl shell script which calls Strawberry Perl -- Victor Shih blog.vicshih.com
