Also,
I have tried using these...
tar -cf /dev/tape1 /cygdrive/c/StratfordData/30GB_Dataset/
tar -cf /TAPE0 /cygdrive/c/StratfordData/30GB_Dataset/
Not sure which one is right as all of them do not report any errors!
