(Untested idea): You could change your /cygdrive mount point to
/cygdrive-real via another fstab entry, then create a directory
/cygdrive and symlinks /cygdrive/[a-z] that all point back to
/cygdrive-real except for /cygdrive/q pointing to /qnx.  Then all your
existing scripts can continue to access /cygdrive/? and get the proper
mount behavior for each drive, with just drive q having the special
mount options.
