  Read particularly the paragraph that begins "Run cygcheck ..." and please
take careful note of the part about sending the output as an attachment, not
as text in the body of your mail.

  McAfee has occasionally been known to cause problems for cygwin by keeping
file handles open (as part of the on-access virus checking) after the program
thinks it has closed them.  Try disabling the on-access scanner while you run
rebaseall.  Alternatively, a reboot might perhaps clean things up.
