Thanks for the link.  While I'm still using binutils-20080624-2, I have
been using --enable-auto-import.  Somehow I don't remember this
mentioned as a (very easy) solution/workaround when we first discussed
this years ago, but I'm certainly glad to be done with it.  (Qt moc uses
these extensively.)
