rsync hang

hmm, I'll have to try that - rsync keeps hanging on me too (and i'm
not using ssh, just doing local copies)
probably not my issue but worth a shot. if I try to attach strace to
the rsync it hangs too, and neither
can be killed by ctrl-c (INTR)
