New Cygwin User, Cygwin doesn't seem to see my hardrive

- Subject: New Cygwin User, Cygwin doesn't seem to see my hardrive
Hi, I'm new to cygwin and after installing it I can't seem to get cygwin to
see my entire computer only the specific directory that it is in itself. For
instance, I cannot navigate to the C: directory or to My Documents or
anything of that nature.
Any ideas/help??
