  Manufacturer dependent.  I have \Device\Serial0, \Device\NmSerial0 to
\Device\NmSerial3 and \Device\USBSER000 and \Device\USBSER001 all on one
machine.  As you see, it's got to go via a lookup of the com port in
\DosDevices.
