I'm batting 1000 today.  I missed that you said you were using password
authentication with 'ssh'.  So let's go back to the beginning.  Please read
and follow the problem reporting guidelines outlined here:

In addition to those general guidelines and requested info, please include
sample results from the machine in question both before and after sshing
in.
