How about
CHECKOUTS=`cleartool lsc -all -cvi -s | d2u` # list all my checkouts
or
for one in $((echo $CHECKOUTS | d2u)) ; do echo $one Hello ; done
depending on how happy cleartool is on piping output to a cygwin program.
