You're better off comparing the results of "dir" from the Windows command
prompt (without a running Cygwin shell) to the results you get from the
Cygwin shell in the same directory.  Keep in mind that Cygwin uses "mount"
to redirect certain directories (/usr/bin, /usr/lib, and /) so you will see
a mismatch for these directories.  See "man mount" for more info.
