I am a vim user and I'm doing all editing with it.

That said, if somebody is going to maintain a gvim version as part of
the Cygwin net distro, cool with me, as long as it uses the runtime
files of the vim base package.  I, for one, will not maintain a GUI
version of vim and IMHO the base version of vim should remain a CLI-only
version.
