My bad.  The code in lib/mkdir-p.c changed from 5.3.0, but my forward
porting of my cygwin-specific patch in 5.3.0 did not take that into
account.  It will be fixed in 5.90-2, although I might wait a few more
days in case there is anything else to fix as well.
