Problem with 20050103 snapshot

I'm experiencing a problem with the 20050103 snapshot as well as a
DLL built from CVS HEAD. The problem is with how bash reports the
exit status of a native process.

With a DLL built on 20041119 (close to 1.5.12), the bash command:

  % cmd /c "exit 0"; echo $?

always returns 0.

With the latest snapshot and HEAD, the same command sometimes
returns 0 and sometimes returns 3.
