I've made a new version of 'findutils' available for installation. This
release is built from CVS so it is unreleased code. It does seem to fix
the reported problem with '-printf "%P"'.
Perhaps more importantly, this version includes a patch from Corinna
Vinschen which should stop the dreaded floppy seek problem that was
reported on the cygwin mailing list.
For a brief description of this package, and a listing of the files it
contains, see http://cygwin.com/packages/findutils .
To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions. findutils
should be updated automatically, assuming that you are using a mirror
which has grabbed the latest version from sourceware.org.
If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin
mailing list.
