Aah, Cygwin 1.3.10. This is antique!

Yes.

Maybe - as for any user account, services might be started under that
account.

Don't know. SFU = Microsoft Services for Unix - ask Microsoft.

UPDATE Cygwin and disable the account and update the SP of Windows
2000.
