Hi,
I downloaded the latest cygwin installation from the
net last night. I hit 2 problems on Windows ME when
debugging with gdb.
gdb gives a "SIGTRAP" message on hitting the first
breakpoint. I find that this happens only if I'm
running xwindows and debugging inside an xterm. The
problem happens even on a simple hello world.
The second problem is independent of xwindows. i.e.
happens even in the bash (msdos) shell. Here upon
rerunning a program that sigsegvs, I get the following
message from gdb:
error return
/netrel/src/gdb-20030303-1/gdb/win32-nat.c:1974 was 6
error return
/netrel/src/gdb-20030303-1/gdb/win32-nat.c:1974 was 6
Please let me know if you need additional info.
Thanks,
P.Spring,
