Yes. I've logged in via ssh with password authentication, and still
wasn't able to access a Samba share. I've found some complaints on the
Net about this, but no resolution. I think either Samba or the Samba
driver in Win2k may be broken.

You need to double them if you pass the "net use" command through ssh.
