RE: midnight commander start new bash proccess after exit


You'll want to check the email archives for answers to questions
like these.  The same issue was reported within the week.  You can
check the archives for the discussion.  For now, the solution is to
turn off subshells.

Hi all.
The problem is that after start mc(midnight commander)
and when i
exit from it.When i exit new bash shell is start.
So when i start and quit 5 times MC in memory reside 6
bash
proccess.

 $ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 ripper 1.3.22(0.78/3/2) 2003-03-18 09:20
i686 unknown
unknown Cygwin
I use windows XP home edition

Before start mc:
$ ps
      PID    PPID    PGID     WINPID  TTY  UID   
STIME COMMAND
     3932       1    3932       3932  con 1004
20:48:05
/usr/bin/bash
     2724    3932    2724       3232  con 1004
20:55:15 /usr/bin/ps

start mc and quit
$ ps
      PID    PPID    PGID     WINPID  TTY  UID   
STIME COMMAND
     3932       1    3932       3932  con 1004
20:48:05
/usr/bin/bash
I    2972       1    2972       3096    0 1004
20:56:22
/usr/bin/bash
      356    3932     356       2372  con 1004

after 5 times i have this:
$ ps

Can someone help me with the problem.
