Re: chmod consistently reports invalid arguments


Try this:

1. manually modify the /etc/passwd file 
mkpasswd -du mywindowslogin >> /etc/passwd 
Where mywindowslogin is the name of the account that you log into windows with.


2. set CYGWIN=nontsec
