- Subject: SSHD Service Problem
Hi to everyone
i found many Event Entry´s in the hosts Log saying:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: /usr/sbin/sshd
Event Category: None
Event ID: 0
Date: 16.01.2002
Time: 12:47:13
User: N/A
Computer: MAIL
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( /usr/sbin/sshd ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: /usr/sbin/sshd : Win32 Process Id = 0x7EC : Cygwin Process Id = 0x7EC : fatal: Read from socket failed: The connection was aborted.
If´ve used /bin/ssh-host-config to install the Service.
I tryed to start the ssh Daemon on shell without logging to Syslog(Eventlog) but got
after the motd Permission denied for /bin/bash -> disconnect.
How to stop Logging to Syslog with the NT Service ?
Thanks for any help
