I get the following error in my event log from cron:
>> The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( /USR/SBIN/CRON ) could not
be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): >> /USR/SBIN/CRON :
Win32 Process Id = 0x198 : Cygwin Process Id = 0x198 : (CRON) error (can't
switch user context).
the crontab that causes this is very innocuous:
>> bash-2.05$ crontab -l
>> # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - edit the master and reinstall.
>> # (/tmp/crontab.377 installed on Wed Oct 31 11:29:22 2001)
>> # (Cron version -- $Id: crontab.c,v 1.5 2001/07/09 09:46:25 corinna Exp
$)
>> MAILTO=lrayman@redtop.com
>> 0-59/5 * * * * ls -l
cron is set to run in the system account
what do I do?
p.s. is there a place where stuff like this is documented?
