Re: REALLY need help prior to 1.3.4 release

Now we're getting into the usual cygwin ridiculous zone.

*You* have just sent email to thousands of people with the idle
speculation that "Mark Himsley" has a dedicated following waiting for
him to take the lead and speak for them. A casual inspection of the
cygwin mailing list unearths one post from Mark with a question about
*how* to use tapes, a few questions about how to do other things, and
one admonishment to a user who was having problems accessing tape drives
without first performing a mount. I'm not sure why anyone would be
expecting him to speak authoritatively raw devices.

I realize that I'm adding to the absurdity of the situation by even
responding to this. I don't plan on responding to this issue any
further.

I would still appreciate feedback and analysis of the most recent
snapshot. Chuck Wilson and Don Sharp have provided exactly what I was
hoping for.

At least somebody gets it...
