Yep, not going to work based on what I have seen (and also some things I have
done) in setup . As we have discussed before - with its dependency on
setup.ini for the packages and the versions (ie Prev, Curr, Test) unless you
were to modify the setup.ini file stored locally it wouldn't know what to
install.
I wanted to try to take a look at this again - because the ability to do this
also requires that setup be able to expand (allowable number of entries) on th
fly the structure (packages) that it uses to track the packages available for
install. I just haven't had time and really am not sure of what function to
use other than I have found a reference to realloc.
But back to the FAQ - I believe the "How do I uninstall Cygwin?" FAQ
immediately before this one might also want to point out setup does have
uninstall for individual packages - just not a full uninstall.
