Re: cygrunsrv fails to start

Hi Fred and Corinna...

The log file is empty. I don't think that sshd is even getting started. Im a
little hesitent to just add a --dep without understanding it. My reason is
that it works sometimes and not others...I can do several restarts in a row
and sometimes it starts up and sometimes it does not. If there is a race
condition, a --dep might make the problem go away without fixing it. (I
fooled myself for a while when I set the service to retry on first failure.)
It always succeeds when I start it manually.

I read about some deadlock problems on service startup, but I think that was
for old NT 4.0 stuff. Are you(s) aware of the possibility of anything like
that here?

Thanks,

...KArl
