Re: domainname


I don't know much about the domainname command, just that the Net::SMTP modules
emits the error "domainname: not found".  I was hoping it was as easy as
creating a valid domainname command to fix this problem.  If it's not so easy,
I'll just live with the error.

You mean the domainname command that gives the NIS or NIS+ domain?
Ummm... do you really mean that you are looking for NIS or NIS+ client
(or server, brrr, the mind boggles) functionality on cygwin?

Or do you just want a way to get the domain part of the FQDN of the
machine?
