David, thanks for the suggestion. However, I don't want to automatically
have my mail sorted for me. It doesn't fit well with the way I use Outlook.
However, Brad Town did suggest a way to tag an email using the Rules Wizard
which is similar to what you're suggesting and very close to what I was
asking for originally:

! With Outlook, you can assign it to a category. Create a rule like
! this: "Apply this rule after the message arrives", "with cygwin-owner in
the
! message header", "assign it to the cygwin category". Then go to
! View->Current View->Customize Current View and add "Categories" to the
! fields. That way, all the messages will be tagged in a highly-visible
! manner.

I only made one small change when I did this: I used "cygwin" instead of
"cygwin-owner".

It seems that this works well for you, but it would be a pain for the way I
use Outlook. I don't have immediate one-click access to all my folders --
just the ones in my Outlook Bar, and I don't have enough room there to give
every subfolder a button. I don't like the explorer-style list of all my
folders and use it only when necessary, which isn't often.

You're right. I should have pruned most of the quoted message. Sorry.

Not much chance of this, I'm afraid.
