windows.h

Who maintain or supports windows.h? I ask because the latest MS Platform
SDK has
defines in it that are missing from the /usr/include/windows.h file. How
did the cygwin
file get invented and is it copyright free?

Currently, I will just add the following single definition:

     #define GWLP_HINSTANCE          (-6)

to get my program to compile. Is there an apocrypha on how this is done?

Thanks

Ed
