At the end of the cvs webpage it does note:
"Please refer to the FAQ for information on building cygwin. Hint: You need
to configure and build in a separate directory from the source."
Perhaps that could be expanded to include Earnie's steps? or just made a bit
more noticeable (I overlooked it as well).
