Re: libtiff, configure, target, make problems



Libtiff 3.4 beta 37 builds without problems.  I used

./configure --prefix=/libtif --target=H-i586-cygwin32

--prefix=/libtif installed the compiled library in /libtif directory. It
is a precaution to
avoid corrupting my /usr/local dirctories.  If you are too confident,
you can omit
--prefix=/libtif.

PS:  There is a prebuilt version of libtif  for B-20 at
http://www.i21.com/~tjump/files/cygwin32
