Oops, this is the second time in a row that I misspelled an URL.
The correct addresses are:
NetCDF: ftp://niteroi.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/win32/unidata/netcdf
HDF: ftp://niteroi.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/win32/ncsa
