I just noticed that in my upgrade from thunderbird 1.0 to 1.5, that
'reply-to-all' no longer replies to all when 'mail-followup-to:' is
provided. Unfortunately, it seems that all posts delivered by the cygwin
mailing list set 'mail-followup-to:', so now people who are posting
without subscribing are not receiving my replies by default. Does anyone
know how to tweak thunderbird settings to restore its pre-1.5 behavior of
replying to the sender as well as the list unless 'reply-to:' is set,
regardless of 'mail-followup-to:'? Or can anyone explain why
mail-followup-to: is being set by the list, when I thought it should only
be set by original posters?
Or is this all just something the hippos are doing when my back is turned?
