Yes, we can restart the discussion at one point. I'd like to get 1.7.8
out of the door first, though, and I'm pretty fed with other non-Cygwin
stuff right now. Let's go a bit slower, please.
As for patches, please make sure they apply cleanly to current CVS,
send them to the cygwin-patches mailing list and add ChangeLog entries
in plain text (not as part of the patch).
Scanning the patches on this list, I guess I like the idea of symlink
chaching, but I'm not so sure for the file system caching. Current
CVS already implements FS caching, though it still requires an open
handle.
