I checked in what I think is a fix for this.
I'd appreciate it if everyone would try this version out.
As I said, there are probably some more issues which could be dealt
with with regard to the mount table but I think we can deal with
those after releasing a new version of setup.exe.
I'd like to know that it works ok before we do that, though, of course.
