net release/installer status?

We've already discussed what we're going to do for this next release.
It's not going to be .rpm, currently.

I'm not sure what you consider to be a "duplicate" file.  The files should
all be the same and should be installed in the same location.

If they aren't please post the differences so that we can analyze what
is going on.
