I'm getting 404'd on the subdirectories.

For future reference:

* PKG_HINTS is not required if named setup.hint and PKG_NAMES is not
defined (IOW only one package is being created).

* Instead of having to patch each Makefile.am to add
-I/usr/include/ncursesw, in the .cygport do:

CPPFLAGS+=" -I/usr/include/ncursesw"

* You also want to add this line to omit the ctags file from the patch:

DIFF_EXCLUDES="tags"
