You could try running "bash -x XXXXXXX.sh"...  I suspect this could be
caused by some leftover process still having ${srcinstdir} as its working
directory when the g-b-s tries to "rm -rf ${srcdir}", but I don't know
which process it could be.  You could try inserting a call to "handle"
from SysInternals, to see if that lets you catch the perpetrator.
