I am getting the same complaint from setup, but I don't know how it could be a
tar version issue. I am using 1.13.25. tar does report errors on unpacking,
but only if using the -v option, so I guess that is why I missed them.
Don't know at this point what the issue is because the build directory no
longer exists. I will rebuild post-haste and investigate.
