- Subject: problems with bitkeeper installer
Tie ago I tried bitkeeper... it's installer is very neat and works very
well and uses cygwin "in the right way"... only it has a problem I've
already reported in their bug management ssytem (it thinks cygwin it's
installed in c:\cygwin\ also if I skipped installing it as I already had
it in a different directory).
This is the tracking page:
http://bitkeeper.bkbits.net/cgi-bin/bugdb.cgi?.page=view&id=2002-02-07-003
If anyone can give them a suggestion how to detect existance of a cygwin install and where to find it.. it would be useful for every cygwin user that wants to install bitkeeper.
(I bet it only needs to read a couple of registry keys, but I do not know since what version it is used and so...)
Thanks, Lapo
