I suggest changing the above to:
sdesc: "PostgreSQL Data Base Management System"
My distribution is currently monolithic. It contains client programs,
libraries, server, selected interfaces, etc. -- whatever one gets from
make install.

Remove ncurses, openssl, initscripts, and postgresql-libs from the above.
Note that I did not configure --with-openssl and objdump indicates no
dependency on ncurses.
Um, er, gulp... How do we handled the cygipc dependency?
